I'm still sore, and very tired. I seem to be quite slow in terms of healing though, I know Carby2Barbie (who had her surgery two days after me) is ready to go back to work already. You'll be fine!

Well done for loosing 12lb!! Don't try and push yourself better! Yes @TiaLi is correct I'm back to work tomorrow and was lucky enough to return home with no pain at all. But just take everything in your stride. Xxx

home yesterday,didn't go to the op theatre till 6pm. I think the most pain has been from the hernia repair. doing well, being looked after by my daughters. thanks for all your thoughts and wishes

Hi djajb, hope your recovery is going ok and you're being well looked after.
I had my bypass on 30th of march and am going home today, we could maybe compare notes on this journey? Are you managing to get enough fluids in I think I hardly managed 1/2pt yesterday not the recommended 3 1/2 pints, but I'm sure it will get easier! And I just love the compression stockings I have to wear for a week!

today is the first day that I haven't slept all the time, I managed yoghurts with milk in no problem but I do feel so empty so a bit fed up today.
