maybe wetherspoons would be best as food places can be a bit tricky for the post oppers, we could sit near the entrance so we can see whos coming to join us, let me know what you think.

There should be plenty of space by 7 pm at Weatherspoons, we should be able to bunch a load of tables together facing the opening on the left as you go in, otherwise we will have to try and cram round the large table on the left like last time!

Well now on to the ongoing saga, I have got home tonight to another envelope from Sunderland, what is it about getting mail from them on a Friday night? I have to see Mr Balupuri for a Gastroscopy!! I am totally confused as to why the hell I need to have one of these, the letter Sunderland sent to my Doctor (and not me) states that I have to have investigations for snoring, nothing about problems with my stomach. I don't have reflux or anything like that which is what they would normally investigate with a camera down the throat. Any one else had this happen to them?

Lesley - i don't know if its related but i had to have one despite having no issues due to family history of oesophageal & stomach cancer. They said they wanted to check that all was well before they sealed the stomach off as it will never be possible to get a scope in that bit again after surgery.
I won't lie - i did not like having it done but its over really quickly and i like the reassurance that all is well in my innards !!

I have had a mini drama today. As some of you know my diet has not gone well between second and third appointment so in a panic i went to my specialist weight management clinic on Tuesday to beg for help to lose the target weight amount the doc had set me.
I was pleased that i had not put any weight on since May but it still meant i had a stone to lose in 4 weeks. I've done it before though so embarked on the slimfast stuff and am back on the xenical and have been angelic for four days.
Today though i got a letter from the hospital bringing my appointment forward a week as the doc has changed his holidays.
Yikes !!
D-Day is now Monday 5th October and i'm panicking even more than before....
