How's everyone coping with their bingo wings?!!!!

CRYSTAL PALACE FC!
Hi everyone, what great weather! How's everyone coping with their bingo wings? I've lost 10 stone and my loose skin isn't too bad but my bingo wings are awful!!! Dont get me wrong i wouldn't swap them for the arms i had this time last year but it is annoying how after losing so much weight that i still feel awkward wearing a vest top, maybe i just worry too much!

Hmmm good question lol mine aint great but when iv had a glass of wine i dont care ! lol

Don't get me started Lisa. There are gale force warnings on the weather forecast when I get my arms out now my arms are very tastefully concertina like and flaps are about 6 inches deep. I just cannot bear them on display other than at home however I have found a lovely lacy shrug which is cool and covers them up but then I'm getting on a bit so am best covered up.

Mine aren't too bad but even if they were, I wouldn't care. I just love the new me... all of it. If it bothers others then they don't have to look at me.

Well I havent had the op yet and I think my fat arms look awful, so swapping one for the other, suppose I will just get used to it.:)

Hate mine! I'm knitting shrugs in every colour and style imaginable. It only takes me an evening to finish one (tonight's is pale pink cotton), so I can pretty much have one to go with everything. When I'm in the car I take it off and slip it back on again before I park up. xx

My arms are horrid too, but its just been too hot to cover them up.

Im hoping that building a little bit of muscle will improve them, but not counting on it... I couldnt afford plastics so will have to see if the NHS will oblige, but Id much rather get my tum and boobs done than my arms if it came down to a choice.

I had my bingo wings out over the weekend (first time wearing a vest top!!), and they got sunburn!!

The skin is thin and like tissue paper, so they burned and now they are agony :-(

I wouldn't consider getting them operated on tho, I have heard nothing but horror stories, and the scars in my opinion are just as bad as the bingo wings themselves, I would just rather put up with them.

Grrr...I only have 'mini wings' at the moment but am hating them already. Don't mind going shopping and stuff sleeveless but if I'm socialising then I've been covering them up with little tops under dresses. Not sure how long I'll be able to do that for though - may need some new ideas soon!

After losing 7 stone mine are horrendous, i dread to think how they will look when the other 10 stone comes off :)

Another conscious one here.

But mine are even worse as I have got a half removed (laser treated) horrid tattoo of piglet on the top of my right arm - I was a classy bird in my yoof, lol!

I look at my arms & even after losing 6.5 stone, they don't appear any smaller!!

xxx

No matter what size or shape no one is happy with their lot even the skinnies have their hang ups and worries , so be proud and get your wings out !
I never cared what peope thought before so i don't think i'll loose any sleep over this one.

My main issue with my arms is not so much the batwing style as the horrendous stretch marks that I have on them. I'm really fair skinned and have suffered from stretch marks since my first pregnancy - not just on my tum, but my arms, bum and thighs. Yuck! xx

I got em out today!!!!!!!!! The bingo wings!!:8855: Thought they may look better if they were tanned! I've lost 10 stone and have only lost 2 inches off the tops of my arms:eek:

Good for you :D I hate my arms and I am pre-op so I will probably hate em even more post-op, oh well, we cant have everything and Ive already got good looks and brains :D x
