Sleevers daily menu

I've had a crap couple of days, but not in the same way as Bellydancer... I've wanted to eat all the wrong things, and yesterday had a small piece of toffee and chocolate cake. I got on the scales yesterday morning and not lost an ounce! My weekly weigh in is Monday, but jumped on early, and was gutted. I think thats why I slipped - it always happened like that pre-op, and obviously hasn't changed. I still can't understand how I only have around 700-800 cals per day and don't lose. I s'pose the scales will tell tomorrow, and I can hope for a dramatic loss next week.

Today's menu...

Fresh oj
Bran flakes with s.s milk
Glass fresh oj
Ham, beef, turkey, 4 carrots, Dessertspoon cauliflower cheese, few peas (>1/2 child's carvery lunch!)
Glass fresh oj
1/2 slice malt loaf
Caramel latte

I reckon I've had just under 750cals and 45g of protein, so hopefully I'll see the losses soon...:sigh:
 
Better day today but still don't want to eat. Maybe the hot weather too.
Brekkie protein shake made with semi skimmed & fresh mango
Lunch muller fat free Greek yogurt, laughing cow triangle
Mid afternoon snack Shaper low fat caramel dessert 3% fat
Dinner mum blitzed some of her homemade bolognese sauce & tablespoon of well cooked spaghetti ( managed it with no pain or vomiting yey!) rather full though.
2 litres of fluids including my lattes - will have another later tonight.
Feeling bit better about what I've ate today.

I'm trying to low carb. NO idea of the calories but here's what I ate today; we're in Israel on holiday and ate out for lunch and supper unusually; usually it's only suppers we eat out as we are in our own place.

Breakfast: Low fat cheese 2 slices: Divine divine divine fresh Israeli baby plum tomatoes. Freshly ground salt. blob of diet mayo. Tea with fresh lemon from our own tree here, and a chunk of fresh ginger.

Lunch: out: shakshuka
shakshuka | smitten kitchen which I reckon is pretty low carb and good protein. I had no bread with it.

Supper at an Asian restaurant. I had a salad of leaves with an Asian dressing for starter, and chicken with broccoli for main. No carbs that I could tell unless hidden in the sauces. No overt carbs anyway :)

Hi This post is really helpful, due my sleeve in about 6 months and the nearer its getting, the more I have been having doubts and worrying... and eating! self sabotage!
 
How many calories are you allowed per day?

I haven't got a date yet. I have to have the balloon first.

I also don't know which op I will be having. Due to me having had hernia surgery a while ago. It depends if Mr Samier can get everything apart to be able to do the by-pass. If he can't, he will do the sleeve. :)
 
Well I was put on 800 calories a day, which i just about manage to get upto most days.

Hiya. I'm only 6 weeks post-op and I feel amazing.
I was a bit tender for the first week or so, but having a 3yr old at home, I probably did too much too soon.
Diet wise, I stuck to the 4weeks on puree even though I felt like I could have eaten proper food, but was aware of the reason for the slop, so stuck with it. I now can eat anything, just much slower and a lot, lot less!
 
Not done that good today again
Brekkie weetabix with skimmed milk
Lunch ate out - fresh Cromer crab with mixed leaves only managed about a 1/3 & Mum ate claws
Dinner - shapers low fat dessert
Just over 1litre of fluids.
Hovering just below 15 stones but not shifting. Yeah know not eating enough protein etc but can't even seem to manage protein shakes or soups t mo. just don't want to eat.

Good to know. I'm considering starting on this path and wonder if there are any maintainers out there who could share. What differences (if any) are there when you reach goal?
