Hi to anyone who may read this, some of you may have seen me posting the last few weeks but I really wanted to start a diary to keep me accountable and to have some support and offer it to others.
Incase you haven't seen me around, my name is Pip and I am due to be sleeved at Shrewsbury Royal on the 28th Jan. It was initially 5th Feb, but recieved a letter on Friday to say it had been brought forward and to start my Pre-Op diet Monday just gone, which happened to be my birthday. :sigh:
I started this journey at 22st5, the heaviest I have ever been and feeling miserable. I am currently 21st11 and coming to the end of day three of my Pre-Op diet. I am on the milk diet to shrink the liver, comprising of 4 pints of milk, 2 yoghurts and 2 pieces of fruit.
I had my Pre-Op assessment today which was ok, although after the third attempt at finding a vein mixed with being on the diet made me come over all queezy and faint. I thought to myself, normally my first port of call would have been a biscuit to make myself feel better and realised how much this summed up my entire lifestyle. Good day - Treat, Bad day - Commiserate with ice cream, Date Night - aways invloved meals out followed by snacks with a film, feeling poorly - comfort food. And so the list goes on.
Anyway I've rambled on enough…day three has gone well, the hunger has resided now. Feeling tip top really
very excited for the 28th X
