Phlem

I guys sorry for the horrid term of phlem. I was banded on Wednesday and have developed a right rattle in my chest and am coughing up phlem. My hp said today that it could just be a reaction to being under anithstetic Has Amy one else had this

Also I'm struggling to get fluids in. I am getting a right sore tight feeling right in the middle beneath my rib cage

phlegm and a cough are symptoms also of the band being too tight as is not being able to get fluids in, did they put anything in your band at the time of surgery? If so it could be too much but the fact you can't get fluids in isn't good.

Managed a couple of glasses of water yesterday and a couple of slim fast ice lollies half a protein drink and a few sips Novorolsky

Cough eased this morning too thank goodness

Maybe just swelling from the op. Will see how it goes today.
