i was a brummie born, then fell into the tamworth overspill (no accent)in the 80's and now working in west brom and slowly picking a (black country/chavvy asian/brummie accent)up....so i fight hard against it...and end up a posh brummie (ie....a complete divvy!) haha

I have been told mine isnt strong. I spend half my week for the last 5 years in Borth Warwickshire where my partner is from. My accent started changing when I was with a guy when I was 22 who was from Thame near Oxfordshire. He was so posh I was forced to do it lol xxx
