Journey to be less wobbly!

It was fine.

Didn't have any pain. It is a bit uncomfortable the first time finding the port, she pushed around quite hard, and still had a lot of thick scar tissue.

To be honest didn't really feel anything this time. Just a strange sensation when fluid goes in and out??? Can't explain it really x

All ok afterwards just back to liquids and mush but only for 2 days so all good x

That's good to know. I can feel my port straight away. It's right in the middle of my breastbone. I hope it doesn't stick out when I lose more weight, I'll have to pad my bra with chicken fillets lol! X

Well I might start updating this thread more regular.

I have started weighing at work, scales are accurate so I am now 38lb down. Well on my way to 3 stone for xmas...

I am doing ok, have another fill booked in for 19th November. Still waiting for the 'sweet spot'. I am feeling good at the minute.

Not eating a lot, sticking to the rules so hopefully I have finally cracked this weight loss game.

I am now 10 weeks post op. Felt ok apart from the last 2 or 3 days had a bit of a dull ache around port site. Not bad pain but i am aware it's there. Will see how I go and mentio it at next fill.

Hoping it dies down and I've maybe pulled the muscle round it, my port is stitched to a stomach muscle apparently.

SO I promise to post a bit more regular and might even start a food diary on here to keep an eye on it.

Got a bit sick of MFP logging in all the time and I have settled on a normal day at around 800-1100 calories.

Speak soon x x

Hi everyone

Quick update.

Had another fill on Wedneday, she put half a ml in taking me to 7.5ml in a 14 ml band.

On their scales I am now 46lb down! This is from original weigh in at THG in August. Over the moon with that. This is the weight I will use to update on here.

Next fill booked for December 19th but need to see if we going on holiday New Year (flying). If we are will need to change this till after hols.

Diet wise, still making good choices, have had a night out most weekends but still losing so am happy with this. I won't go out when hubby is back away working so make the most of it while he is home.

I am now nearly half way to my 100lb target loss and just hope it keeps going down.

i don't have restriction yet I don't think??? Suppose I will know when it hits the sweet spot.

Small portions are doing me for my meals but not going for 4-5 hours between like recomended. Still snack on an afternoon.

Anyway hope you all getting on ok and speak soon x x

Well done wobbly :)

Thanks.

Back on normal food today and have not snacked? Hoping I'm getting there with this fill x

Well done I'm also at 7.5 in a 14 mls band with THG but got my second fill in a week and a bit! My weight loss is ok and getting near the 3 stone mark! So really pleased! Still occasionally eating to quickly and being sick but I'll get there! :)

Only tip is to stick to the rules from your provider.

I have done this and I have also had the odd treat, everything in moderation.

Had a night out on a saturday for the last 5 or 6 weeks and still losing.

I've only just joined the gym so gonna start exercising now.

Also try to have half your teaplate with salad or veg, fills you up with less cals x

It's been a while.

Moved house last week so have been busy.

Still been ok diet wise but could of probably been better. I haven't eat a lot but have not had as much salad and veg. ALso had too much wine!! Blame the stress of moving. Scales at work still show another small loss but that's ok.

Back to normal now but an office full of choccies doesn't help!!!

Next fill 19th December, hoping it gets me somewhere near 'sweet spot'.

Hello anyone who looks???

Updated in main forum but had 4th fill yesterday and lost 52.5lb in total.

Over the moon and now up to 8.0 ml so hoping getting somewhere close.

Hard day yesterday on liquids, don't know how I did 2 weeks after op x x

Well done :)

Still here!

Doing ok I think. Bought a of skinnyish trousers from next and they actually look ok! Will take a foto over Xmas when I wear them.

Life's good weight wise, just a pity hubby away for Xmas x

Well thank god that's over and back to normality!

I think weight wise I have stayed about the same over the Christmas and New Year but will weigh Friday morning as normal at work, might actually show a small loss by then.

I have enjoyed myself even though hubby away! Was still nice , didn't have much time off work thought I might as well save hols for when he is home to go away somewhere hot.

I have had far too much wine and cheese and had a few choccies yesterday. But still glad not to see any gains....

Have a fill booked in mid january but if we book a holiday I will cancel that one.

Gym reopens tomorrow so back into it x x

1Lb down over the last 2 weeks on work scales. Don't update ticker till weigh in at THG x x

Well it's been a while.

Like I said in a previous post had a 'good' xmas, too much wine and cheese and a few chocs but all in all food was ok.

Had a week all inclusive 5 star and drank every day there as well!!! Again food was ok, salads and fresh fish most meals.

Had a fill Monday and had lost 1kg. Expected this so was ok with it.

Since Monday I have done 2 days liquid and 2 days mush and it looks like I have dropped a few kg already. Am hoping a lot was just fluid retention after all the wine!

So back to it now, loaded with cold the last few days so no gym but food ok today.

Ive had: -

Warburtons thin with cheese triangle and slice of thin ham

Dinner - salad with feta and croutons

tea - will be having salmon salad and a couple of new potato's

No snacks yet but will prob have something like a cereal bar or yogurt and blueberries x

Speak soon and hope you are all doing ok x x

wow its been a long time since i looked at this thread.

i think i am about 5 and half stone down now. could of been more but life gets in the way.

i have had a full liestyle change and its great. I still socialise and have a drink most weekends, eat a bit of chocolate if I want it. Weight loss is slow but I am enjoying it and not deprived at all.

I did want to lose 100lb by my one year anniversary but that's not going to happen but so what! I am a size 16 from a 24. I exercise 5 or 6 times a week and I enjoy it now.

Anyone thinking of getting this done I say go for it, but be prepared for big changes, you still need to pick food wisely and exercise is the key for me x x

Five and a half stones down, while still enjoying yourself. WAY TO GO WOBBLY ... FANTASTIC!!! :D
