Thanks crystal :)

Just been catching up on some diaries :) it's nice to read how everyone is doing ... I just don't know what to put on the diaries sometimes.

For me I've had no restriction over Xmas and put 6lbs on but had second fill yesterday and hopefully will get better again soon.

I'm not even bothered which is odd... But I'm struggling with this weather and just want to stay in bed .... Which is pants cos I have to get up to go to work!!! I have a nightmare of a boss and After 2 weeks off at Christmas I really didn't want to go bs k. My job is so stressful too... My work load is high, our targets are high, I only work part time and it's not enough d

Not too bad....Its all a huge learning curve. Its like being reborn and starting all over liquids, purée, soft foods, normal foods. I think my portions are too big and I don't feel restriction at all although I eat like a whole chicken breast and lentils.

Awwwww Sunny hugs coming your way :) sometimes its good to get it off your chest..... good luck with getting some good losses now with your new fill..... 6lb in the scheme of things is nothing to much to tackle.....most Christmases we would have gained that and more eh..... so best foot forward now hunni... here's to a brand new year and a brand new you..... use your diary for what suits you sweetness.... I found it useful to log feelings and how they tied in to my weight.... sometimes its good to see it written down......especially when you can go back over the months and see what works and what doesn't ...... all the best sweetness, hope the load at work slackens of soon..... be gentle with yourself x x x x x x x

Not enjoying work is a nightmare. Been there for over two years at one point felt my mood drop on a Sunday and by Monday morning felt physicaly sick on the Monday morning - had too much invested to walk away. But it pushed me to progress and get away from my situation Try to take it a day at a time and know that this too shall pass ((((Huggs))))

Thanks guys.

Yeah it's hard with work I like the job and i get to meet lots of great people I wouldn't normally meet - it's just my case load is huge, I cover a huge area and I'm always chasing myself - it's ridiculous it should have more days. It's only 3 days for a 4/5 day job.

And my boss is on maternity leave and the stand in is a nightmare!!

Plus I'm trained in something else and would love to set up my own business (you couldn't do this for anyone else) but I can't do it cos I can't afford it :-(

Oh dear I'm really moaning today - sorry guys X

Make a plan to get to where you want to be

You can only split yourself so many ways

I too have a caseload and when I get stressed out my husband tells me "you can only pee with the cock you've got" horrible expression he's a retired cop!!! But it is so true

I find the more I stress the more I hash and bash and I get less done - also I care about the people I'm trying to help.y colleague told me once that I should try being politely unhelpful that I do too much for people - if it's your nature it's hard to change though

Could you not start small with your business - a couple of days a week?

Thanks guys.

Haha good phrase Kirsty lol I've not heard that one before.

I'm thinking of starting small with my other thing on at least one of the other days.

I do love my job, and I think I'm the same- I like to help, I can't cut corners and I care.

It was a good day today. I came back and I'm chilling in the bath for a bit.

Need to get a handle on my food again and I'm sure I'll feel a bit better again :)

Hope you both had a good day X

Hello everyone- time to start updating in here again.

So not doing right well at the mo.

Still trying to recover from Xmas and get back on track.

Trying to plan a bit more what to eat, I think. I'm veggie so will need some planning. I'm pants at planning foid but I'm gonna try.

Is there a list anywhere of good foods?? You know substitutes

You used to eat this - try this instead etc ???

That would be useful :)

I've not got any further with my business apart from looking at websites and speaking to work about conflict of interests etc etc so I suppose I've started. Oh and I cleared my desk!

I try and ditch the rubbish and stick to a stone age diet..... nothing from a packet :) Once your down that route its a slippery slope..... Saw a program the other day (I forget what one mind) the Dr said that processed food was like heroin AND I agree..... once on that path its really hard to give it up.........like you Christmas has been my stumbling block..... yesterday I went cold turkey.... mid afternoon (while out) my blood sugars dropped and my gosh I felt terrible..... chocolate bar and a pasty later!!!! jezzzzz LOL

SO today its a home day.... trying cold turkey again today.... but this time i'm close to a protein supply LOL

Good luck hunni

Here's a rough guide what I eat..... ham, cheese and fruit for breakfast..... omelette for lunch ..... meat or fish and veggies for dinner..... of course snacks too :) it must be hard being veggie :( another rule of thumb for me is 200 cal meals.... side plate....20 20 20..... protein first..... ditch the carbs..... once your on the straight and narrow, its easy...... but its kicking the addiction first........... hmmmm am trying to follow my own advise today too LOL

Have a fab Sunday :) hope your new venture springs into to life

My allergy specialist says the same, and coming off said processed food can also be likened to heroin withdrawal! I know I'm awful when I've been eating bread etc (well, I'm awful eating bread and withdrawal is as bad)

I don't know how I would cope post surgery withdrawing from food stuffs - it's hard enough now. But I like the heroin analogy, although at times I have been known to use it as an excuse. I try to follow stone-age too.
